A hazy amber beer with a beige whipped cream head. The aroma is sharp with notes of fruits and berries - cow berries standing out, but also some metallic notes from the alcohol. The flavor is of cow berries and alcohol, which lends it hints of metal - the flavor is also very sharp. All in all a very sharp edged Barley Wine - I believe it’ll get better with some aging and some slightly more rounded edges.

Pale yellow, decent head. Weak malty harsh nose. Light-bodied and more or less tasteless lager. Round mouthfeel saves a bit. Hoppy bitterness in the finish (or is it bog myrtle?). Easy to forget.

Copper brown, small head. Malty, rubbery, some underlying sweetness. Medium-bodied. Malty (rye bread), some mild hops, brown sugar, a bit harsh. Just an inch above bulk lagers.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark mahogany with a thick, brownish and rather stable head. Sweetish, lovely notes of roasted malt and actually very delicious - precisely what a nice "hvidtøl" (table beer) should be like. 031204

(Bottle 33 cl) Brewmaster Clemmensen of Thisted Bryghus claims to be 3 years in the developing of a new beer. Well, if that’s the case please don’t blame me for having high expectations when eventually there’s a new beer from this sympathetic brewery.
Pilsener golden with a decent head. This is an "extra" version of the brewery’s bog myrtle lager. Main problem is, that you don’t really taste the extra dose. What’s left is a good, hoppy strong lager. I just expected more and hence this is quite a disappointment. 281004
Bottle 50 cl. "Thisted Porse Guld Ekstra". Clear yellow with a small white head. Sweet malty nose. Medium body, sweet malt, some metal and a dry and hoppy finish. 241010 6/3/6/3/13 Bottle 33 cl. "Thisted Porse Bock". Pours a clear deep golden with a whiteish head. Maty, honeyish aroma. Medium body, malts, sulphur and honey. Dryish finish with a discreet bitterness. 241010 6/3/6/3/13

(Bottle 33 cl) Pretty, dark golden colour with a small, fine creamy head. Malty base with roasted malt and a weak note of iron. One of the best "Classic". 100802
