Bottle 330ml. [ As Loncium Weizenbock ].Unclear matt medium amber color with a average, frothy to fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, light caramel, moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity, banana, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, banana, bubble gum - minerals, fruity. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20140517]

Bottle - Light smoke, dark malts, dark fruit and some sugars. Cloudy brown with a thin white head. Rich dark malts, light molasses and a long malty finish. I really like this, quite nice.

Was eingangs überrascht, ist das Fakt, dass kaum Schaum aus der Flasche kam, weshelb ich schon Angst hatte, dass es alt geworden ist - aber gottseidank doch nicht. Es ist ein gut ausbalanciertes Weizenbier mit schönen fruchtigen Aromen -und noch dazu ein Biobier von einer kleinen Brauerei -was will man mehr.

Ein Bier mit einer deutlichen Bitternote. Da mag an der ordentlichen Hopfung mit Perle, Mosaic, Vic Secret, Galaxy und Cascade liegen. An Malzen kommen Bio Pilsener, Wiener Typ, Carahell und Carared zum Einsatz. Als foodpairing wird zu schweren Salaten oder asiatischer Küche geraten. Das kann ich mir gut verstellen, da es nicht nur bitter, sondern auch recht würzig ist. Auch schlägt so nicht die Bitterkeit so brutal zu. Ein gutes Bier zum Essen, sonst etwas zu brutal.

Gefunden in einem Bio-Laden im Zentrum von Klagenfurt. Da es kein aufgedrucktes MHD hatte, wurde es bald getrunken. Es ist ein wirklich schönes Wiener Lager mit einem tollen malzigen Noten und einem hopfigen Abgang mit leicht fruchtigen Aromen. Hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Eines der ersten Biere dieses Typs in Österreich, Es überzeugt durch einen süßlich angehauchten, volen Geschmack und ist sicher etwas besonderes, wenn es auch den klassischen Biertrinker überfordern kann.
