Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Robust malty base with notes of biscuits and a tinge of cara-malt; moderately sweet malt-accented finish with notes of woody hops at the very end. 08.VII.10

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Mildly grainy malty aroma with a tinge of biscuits and woody hops. Slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Malt-accented, slightly grainy and biscuity taste with delicately hoppy notes in the background; sweet and slightly bitter finish with woody hops. Perhaps the best of the so far profane Härtsfelder assortment. 08.VII.10

3l bottle from Katzenstein Castle’s promotion stall at Steiff-Sommer 2010, Giengen/Brenz. Brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of caramel and chocolate. Medium-bodied, solid malty base with caramel, fudge and a touch of cocoa powder. Hints of blackcurrant and blackberries. Slightly hoppy towards the lingering finish. A very nice Dunkel.

Bottled (possibly an alias of Härtsfelder Öko-Krone Leicht?) . Straw colour, ultra brief head. Vaguely grain with some grass and resin. Dry and light bodied, but not thin. Slight bitterness. Simple.
