Golden-brown. Nice head. Nutty-toasty aroma. A brown ale with a hint of hops, like an American Brown. On the palate, it is woody, toasty, earthy, nutty and with some bitter chocolate.

Golden-amber. Thin head. Caramel and hop nose. The palate has more caramel but it tastes good, and is balanced by some hops that are almost cilantro-like in their character.

Golden, bright. No aroma. None. Honeyish sweetness on the palate, with a light cascadey, fruity hop character.

Cloudy dull straw-tan. Has a fruity, slightly footy aroma. Footy palate too - only a little bit - and a bit rotten. Some sort of yeast issue is going on here, because this is very dirty. It messes up the character.

Deep caramel-amber colour - nice. Good caramel aroma with some depth. Phenols veer into bubblegum/paint thinner, but not enough to be a major issue. Does have a fuselly/bubblegum character on the palate. Not the rich malt I hoped for.

Dark brown. Thick, slightly rocky head. Coffeeish aroma with hints of chicory and chocolate. Palate is the same - only chocolate first with coffee secondary.

Amber. Big dank aroma of citrus, weed, wood. Loaded with hops. Rich hoppy character with marijuana notes is balanced with just enough crystal malt. Very drinkable.

Slightly hazy amber. Lightly caramelly with a subtle hop underpinning. Fairly clean but for a little yeastiness.

Dark brown colour. Chocolatey, fudgey aroma with hints of peanut skins. Fairly complex milk and dark chocolate flavour profile. Quite sweet. Soft, slightly watery body.

[At GABF 2004] A pale brown beer with a small orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with fruity notes as well as notes of prunes. The flavor is malty and primarily fruity before a dry end sets in. An interesting beer.
