Bottle, 0.33l. Murky deep straw color with medium soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of citrus, cereals, herbs and yeast. Taste starts sour and refreshing grainy without any sweetness, following is citric, mouthfeel is mild spicy and dry, while finish is mild bitter. Light body, watery texture and lively carbonation in palate. Not bad, but it’s sunk in mediocrity...

Bottle at the Hary Motorcycle Pub, Białystok. Dark golden, hazy, with a surprising amount of sediment. I can work with this. Aroma is slightly artificial, but a nice white grape scent comes through and gives it some respectability. Bittersweet fruity taste, very nice, but then a bit of the metallic feel comes back. Darn. Still good though. Verdict: not amazing but certainly not bad. I wouldn’t have it again but it’s a worthy enough tick.

On tap at Alaus Biblioteka, Vilnius. Deep gold more than amber, with a small white head. Aroma of grain and somewhat artificial lemon. Bland sour/bitter taste, not much more in the finish. A pretty pointless beer really.

33cl as a gift. Pours close to black with a modest, tanned head. Fairly mild aroma of roasted malt with coffee, chocolate, caramel and some slightly bready notes. Moderate to medium sweet with mild roasty flavours and a light bitterness in the finish. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Mild in flavour, but fairly easy to drink and quite okay.
