Batch 22 (Mosaic). Tap. Clear amber, white head. Mango and sticky breadcrust aroma. Sweet with dank mangoes and dope before some resin. Could have used a little more bitterness.

Can, Pak 'n' Save, Queenstown. Medium fruity nose, sweet, honey, biscuits. Medium bittery start, some honey sweetness, pretty present. Medium aftertaste. Light body. Nice lager, more on the sweet side.

50cl bottle from Liquor Store, Wanaka. A slightly hazy dark amber pour with a loose cream head; floral aroma; sweet caramel malt taste; with a pleasantly bitter tropical fruit finish. Very good indeed - a cross between an ESB and an IPA.

On tap at a cafe in Wanaka. A dark straw colour with a tight white head; grassy aroma; strong grassy taste with some sweet cereal grains; and a robust fruity hop finish. Rather good.

Tap at Cork Wanaka. Very dark brown with dark beige head. Light coffee, roast, licorice, sweet malts, toffee, sweet oats, light dried cranberries, caramel. Bit over medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied. Finally something that’s not an IPA. Nice.

GABS Auckland 2018. Pours gold orange. Lemon, grapefruit, white chocolate, dry champagne finish. High carbonation. Nice.
