On tap at the sours.a lovely surprise, I was not expecting a freshly poured sour when I arrived. Cloudy amber pour, with a small white head. We headed outside to the ample picnic tables to enjoy our brew. Tart nose, light lactic notes, light fruit, plums, pears. Mouth feel is nice, carb is soft. Finish is lightly tart, woukdnt call it sour, low bitterness, semi dry finish, light minerals, and grasses.

Pretty dark for a golden ale.... It’s a slightly hazy bronze pour with a medium off white head. Aroma is malty, but there is a distinct musty cereals Aroma also. Hops are slightly grassy, and there is a touch and you gotta look hard, but a hint if pine resins. The finish is musty, slight apple flavour, medium bitterness. Needs work.

Label says red ale.... But I’m gonna say this is an amber ale. Pours a clear, dark copper, with small light beige head. Aroma is pretty basic, light malts, caramels, slight Aroma of LME. Body and carb are standard. Finish is sweet, malty, tastes like extract kit homebrew actually. This reminds me of what craft beer was during its infancy In Ontario 15 years ago. Nothing to see here really. A lifetime macro drinker might be impressed, but it’s mediocre and boring.

This ale poured a hazy, medium yellow colour with a big, creamy, bright white head. Nice lacing. Scents include honey, dough, light pineapple, hint of citrus and a little cardboard. First swig was smooth and a little thin but quite good. Flavours of tea, honey and light hops most prominent. Finish is faintly bitter with flavours of tea and mild hops flavour lingering.

This dark poured a deep dark red colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include? Very little. Wife gets a little tea but I don’t really, malt and? First swig was like a light version of dark beer. Very good, but lighter on the palate. Flavours of roasted malts and tea. Finish is lightly hoppy with a nice roasty flavour lingering.
