This stout poured a deep black colour with a creamy, deep brown head. Head so thick it almost won’t move. Scents include cocoa, raspberry, black toast and a little smoke. First swig was smooth and creamy with flavours of raspberries, dark chocolate, cake and burnt toast. Finish is well burnt with bitter, dark cocoa flavours lingering.

This IPA poured a deep golden amber colour with a creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include bread, cream, corn and a little cooked veggies. First swig was smooth, creamy and lightly hoppy. Flavours of dough, pineapple and must. Finish is medium bitter with flavours of misty malts lingering.

This DIPA poured a cloudy, dark amber colour with a minimal, white, soapy head. Nice lacing. Scents include candy, ripe fruit, alcohol and a little pine. First swig was a little odd tasting. Flavours of pineapple, tea, and a little overripe citrus. Finish is bitter with ripe fruit barely able to surface past the hops. Too bitter for this couple…

This ale poured a deep amber colour with a tan coloured, creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include malt, caramel, ripe fruit and a little must. First swig was smooth and oh so malty. Flavours of caramel, rip fruit and rye bread most prominent. Finish is lightly sweet with a tad of bitterness on the back of the tongue.

This tripel poured a light amber colour with a creamy, bright white head. Nice lacing. Scents include ripe fruit, spice, bubblegum, paint thinner and alcohol. First swig started out not-so-much… nice body, slightly sweet, minimal carbonation and full flavoured. Flavours of sweet malt, yeast, alcohol, wee bit maple and apricot. Finish is sweet, thick and lingering.

This ale poured a deep amber colour with a big, creamy light tan head. Nice lacing. Not very strong to the nose at all. Very light scents of malt and ripe fruit. First swig was quite nice. A little thin, but very drinkable. Light sweet malt flavour lingering.

This cream ale poured a nice deep amber colour with a creamy, bright white head. Nice lacing. Scents include sweet malt, biscuit, cardboard and must. First swig was smooth and flavourful with tastes of sweet malt, must, mild yeast and a little ripe fruit. Finish is malty and smooth with very little bitterness.

This Kolsch poured a golden colour with a white, creamy head. Minimal lacing. Scents include must, oatmeal, gravy and a little straw. First swig was a little thin but quite good with flavours of a brewery, boiling wart, mild malt and a little corn. Finish is all weeds, yeast and malt.

This porter poured a deep black colour with a creamy brown head. Nice lacing. Scents include coffee, molasses and dark toast. First swig was delicious. Flavours of caramel, coffee, dark chocolate and ash. Finish is lightly burnt with a bit of sweetness coffee lingering.
