Time for a change! The hops in our beers simply come from the Netherlands, from the village of Kamerik. In the middle of the Groene Hart.
The recipes for our beers come from De Brouwschuur in Deurne, a village deep in Brabant. Did you know that our hops are largely picked by hand? Hard work. You can taste it.
A true ODE to home-grown beer!

0.33 l can from 'Bierloods22', best before August 2025. Hazy, amber with a medium large, frothy, quickly collapsing, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of clove, banana, honey and some pear. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, a little sourish, quite yeasty-spicy and gently fruity-floral taste of clove, banana, plastic, some pear and a touch of honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit tart finish. Medium body, a bit astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Mediocre, a but flawed.

330ml can. Cloudy, orange golden to amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, dirty white head. Minimally bready, wheaty malty, yeasty spicy and minimally yeasty fruity aroma, hints of clove, banana, banana bread, a phenolic touch. Taste is wheaty malty and slightly yeasty fruity, quite phenolic, hints of banana, a touch of clove. Creamy-oily texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, soft to flat carbonation. Not really convincing...
