Draft and Rock and Brews, Oviedo. Bit of an odd one, and I hate to say it but the very first thing that came to mind was a flavor I haven't encountered in beer in a long time: homebrew twang. I was never clear what caused this, but this beer was fairly sweetish, grainy, with hints at an odd fruitiness somewhat like raspberries, but there's no fruit here. I wonder if there isn't some weird ketone or phenol in this beer causing that? Otherwise grainy sweet, hops feel understated probably just not keeping up with the sweetness and other odd flavors here. Medium bitter finish. Dark caramel color in the glass.
