16 ounce can from brewery. Brassy gold pour. Frothy white head. Biscuity malt aroma hints at lemon pith. Flavor is decidedly bitter upfront. Notes of lime, lemon and black pepper. Hops dominate. Lacks balance and complexity.

Draft at the brewery, 2/15/23. Clear gold, foamy white head that sticks around forever. Definitely a foam gang beer. Lace is thick in layers on the glass. Herbal, grassy, and dry. Citrus and melon rind. Pine notes. Tasty. 4--- Draft at the brewery, 4/3/23. Clear golden-orange, thin head. Earth, grain, and caramel. Nice zesty citrus notes. Bread, grains. Nicely dry on the finish. Quite drinking and fairly tasty as well. 4---

Draft at the brewery, 2/15/23. Clear dark orange, off white head. Malty and sweet. Caramel and dough. A touch of earth. Slightly boozy. Nicely complex. Good stuff. Should have started this rating and then never finished it, but the ticker in me wouldn't allow it.

Draft at the brewery, 2/15/23. Dark brown, brown head, moderate lace. Roasted coffee, bitter dark chocolate, and a hint of smoke. Smooth and dry. Full bodied, lengthy finish that leaves the mouth dried out nicely. Quite tasty.
