Bottle shared at our hostel in Queenstown. Clear golden with white head. Sweet bready malts, quite some caramel, light pine, grassy hops, light brown sugar, dried apricot, light grape skins. Medium sweet and just medium bitter. Medium bodied. Tastes quite ‘dark’ for a pale lager.

Pint on tap @ Dodson St beer garden. Bread, banana, cloves, it’s all there. Golden bronze beer with solid but small head. Constant fine carbonation. Sharp fizzy banana taste with hoppy vegetable finish. Right on style and delicious.
