440ml can from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear orange amber colour with a huge fizzy white head. The can said the haze level was turned up to the max, but that haziness didn’t appear until I poured the dregs from the bottom of the can. The aroma is big orange tangerine. The flavour is moderate sour, with a fresh, crisp, light, tart citrus, herbal, spicy, light sweet vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. Tasty and refreshing.

From a 440ml can on 30/11/2022. Pours a clear medium golden witha big fluffy head. Has a light citrus and grassy nose that doesn't really hint at what's to come. Very interesting on the sip - lots of sweet orange, vanilla and creamy honey finished by a quite distinct lemony finish. The mouthfeel is quite creamy and full for it's fairly modest size with the carbonation average.Quite singular and really well done. A novelty beer that delivers in spades.

330ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is light rhubarb. The flavour is light sour, with a light, watery, light rhubarb, light cinnamon palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Low on flavour, body and bubbles. A real disappointment.

Can. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Palate is light for the abv, light and a little fluffy. Decent fine carbonation. Soft dark malts. A pleasant mix of dark chocolate Malteasers and Cappuccino. The Sabro hops do provide a hint of the tropicals but it really is only a light touch and the coconut comes through first with some ripe pineapple emerging on the end along with mild alcohol spice. An intriguing mix of flavours and for me it pulls it off. Goes down very easy.

Urbanaut BA American Barleywine 11% Matte orange with thick off-white foam and a sweet malty caramel with boozy piney hops and barrel oaky character. The taste is sweet malty caramel, oak, pine and citrus peel. Considering the high abv and that’s it’s a barleywine this is quite well balanced. I’m a fan of these small cans, 250ml of a huge beer keeps the price reasonable (5-600¥) and also means I can have one on my own.

440ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is strong citrus fruits. The flavour is over moderate sour, with a fresh, crisp, big tart Kiwifruit, lime palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A somewhat one-dimensional, alcoholic fruit juice. Nice, but not the kind of beer I’d buy twice.

440ml can from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear light yellow golden colour with a massive lasting frothy white head and lots of champagne-like bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, light lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a crisp, light, watery, lemon citrus, light herbal, floral, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Has no body at all. Reminiscent of a cheap supermarket beer. How they get to 6.5% with such a light malt bill is a mystery.

The flavour is moderate sweet and herbal, with a crisp, melon, mango, herbal, earthy, dry, boozy alcohol, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Interesting!
