Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffly dark malts, bitterish licorice. Some mild dark malt cream brings some balance. Finishes smooth and silky with more bitter licorice. Could be sweeter.

Bottled 330ml (web, BB 12/2017)
Golden-amber colour, medium-sized white head. Fruity but harsh aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Some fruits, bready, even a bit grainy. Average pale ale in the last part of its shelf life = nothing special.
