Description
In 2019 ontstond na een lange aanloop en een prachtig verhaal vol (bier) geschiedenis een nieuwe stadsbrouwerij in de binnenstad van Delft: Delftse Brouwers. Delftse Brouwers huist in het historische pand van Delfts Brouwhuis. Er wordt gebrouwen op een Engelse brouwinstallatie met een capaciteit van 650 liter.

John Brus (tussen 2009 en 2019 mede-eigenaar en -directeur van brouwerij De Molen in Bodegraven) zwaait de scepter als eigenaar en brouwer.

Tap at Hoptic festival. Clear light amber with almost white head. Dried fruit peel, earthy malts, quite some caramel, light yogurt, bread, apricot, orange peel, light grassy. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit oily feel.

Tap at Hoptic festival. Bit hazy light amber with white head. Creamy, spicy yeast, sugary malts, dried fruits. Very aromatic but barely any taste. Weird. Like Grimbergen? Quite sweet and light bitter. Full bodied. Like a perfumed strong light blonde. Weird.

Tap at Hoptic 2020. Black with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Hazlenutty edge. Roasty, coffee. Sweet roasty and oaty. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Tap at Hoptic festival. Black with creamy beige head. Roasted malts, earthy, light licorice, dry raw cocoa. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bit dry feel. OK.

Hoptic 2020. Unclear amber with white head. Sweet sugary and syruppy. Tropical fruit and light spices, sharp grassy. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Tap at Hoptic festival. Bit hazy yellow golden with white head. Smells nice with tropical fruits and sweet malts. When sipping it has some weird herbal notes and lactose/cream. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Not a bad beer, but for the style it's not very good.
