Can. Deep red with a fat beige coat. Spiced toffee and stewed fruit aroma. As with normal Big Fella, the singed toffee note gives it complexity and helps it seem not too sweet. Moderate bitterness - actually it creeps up after a while- with not much in the way of hop aromatics. Hides the 10% well. A decent sipper.

Can. Deep red with a modest beige head. Aroma of rye bread, toffee, citrus. More complex malt flavours upon a swig - the toffee is deep and singed and there's spicy breadcrust before light citrus and firmish bitterness. Solid, original.

Can. Bronze, a coat of beige head. Grassy aroma with some sticky breadcrust behind. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Sweet and malty with lots of toffee. Moderate peppery and grassy bitterness struggles a little towards the finish. A bit dull.

Can. Pretty much black with a dense cm of tan head.Gentle mocha and spice aroma with just hints of roast. Just medium bodied, pleasant creamy texture. More roast than suggested by the aroma which pushes the mocha into more of a supporting role. Very English spicy bitter finish. Good.

(Can) Pours hazy straw gold with a decent loose white head. Nice refreshing citrus and pine aroma. Light body with bright carbonation. Taste is a bit thin but pleasant citrus at the start and some gentle hoppy bitterness in the finish. Somehow I am reminded of sherbet. Pleasant enough for a low alcohol session ale.

(Can) Pours clear pale gold with no head. Cardboard and grain aroma. Light body rather fizzy carbonation. Lemon hints, rather grainy, light malt, very little bitterness. Pretty bad but drinkable.
