12 oz can from the Publix, Cape Canaveral, 11/4/25. Clear golden pour, foamy white head. Grains, honey, and lemon. Clean, tingly feel. Not a world beater, but a solid crusher for sure.

12oz can pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is sweet apple notes a little bread grain. Taste is more of the sweet apple notes some grain.

I found this 12 oz can at the local HEB that generally stocks a decent variety of singles. Using a globe glass this go around, I flip the top on the can and pour. I view a semi-hazy yellow-gold body finished by a slender skim of completely white foam. A lot of carbonation working its way up to the top. The scent is pleasant. Lots of grain, citrus and blue sky. The drink heads a slightly different direction than your typical kolsch, not necessarily a bad thing. A bit flowery at first and then malt, grain, a touch of lemon and straw. Tolerably all right, do not think I will seek this one out again.

12 oz. can from HEB in Boerne, TX. Canned on 5/23/23. Pours a cloudy gold color with a bright white head and good retention. A few spots of lacing. Basic pale malt aroma. Tastes like a basic pale malt too, with a slight souring edge. Another bad can? I am 0 for 3 with this brewer. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. It's okay, but doesn’t look or taste like a Kolsch.

12 oz. can from HEB in Boerne, TX. Pours a very cloudy gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Zero lacing. Aroma of doughy malts. Similar flavors of sourdough bread, some yeast, and malts. I'm not sure if the sour edge is on purpose or not. This is my 2nd Starbase beer that tastes off. Medium-light body. Lower than average carbonation. Not bitter. Disappointing.

A new Texas brewery to me. I found a 12 oz can at the local beer shop and am now ready to sample. A snifter will have to suffice, it was already here. A mostly hazy yellow-going-to-gold body followed by a slowly disappearing top of almost white bubbles. Largely tropical in smell with some grain. And I take a drink, pineapple to a degree, lemon, malt, enough hops to register and not much more. I anticipated more.
