I located a 750 ml bottle at a liquor store in OKC with a surprisingly good singles selection of beers. This was the only big bottle we purchased, a growing trend in recent years. Shared with my daughter, we each used a snifter to drink with. The pour showed a dark amber-brown body with a wispy ring of taupe foam. I got a nice Belgian style scent out of the glass, plums, grain and yeast. And the drink, well, it was okay. Red plums, grain, yeast and malt, but the nose promised better. I thought the sensation was thin. Not a bad dubbel but not close to the best.
