Tap at brewery. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, light coffee, chocolate. Taste is dark malt, roasted malt, cofffee, chocolate, light licorice. Best beer on tasting.

Tap at brewey. Cloudy orange golden color with white head. Aroma of oranges, zest, light malt. Taste is moderate hoppy with oranges, zest, light citrus, medium malty body.

Tap at brewery. Hazy yelow-ish color with small white head. Aroma of malt, floral notes and cucumber. Taste is about cucumber. You can taste also base beer with light fruityiness, but cucumber is star. This was good.

Tap at brewery. Amber orange color with mesium white head. Aroma of caramel malt, ripe fruits. Taste is very sweet with caramel malt, ripe fruits, touch of zest.

Tap at brewery. Pale golden color with white head. Aroma of malt, light fruitiness with ripe fruits, touch of hops. Taste is pretty the same.

An unassuming brewery putting up a strong beer. The family stumbled on Gristworkz over the Thanksgiving weekend and we had this beer. I didn't ask but assume the name of the brew comes from what you find on the end of a dipstick. Yes, rather thick and flavorful too in this case. I had a 13 oz. glass and am glad I stopped there. Totally black, a bare ring of tan, very fine bubbles. It smelled of grain, dark chocolate and alcohol. The drink was dark chocolate, wheat bread, raspberries, dark raisins and booze. Nice. Powerful.
