Draft pour pint enjoyed at Crooked Label, Monroe. Dark muddy brown appearance. Robust bold malt aroma and flavor. Has a slight coffee note on the nose. Burnt toast, dark bready malts, almost spicy like a rye hint. Malt turned up to 11 in classic Crooked Label fashion. Pretty good porter overall.

On tap at Crooked Label. Slightly cloudy golden amber appearance, very thin foam head. Described as an Amber Weizen at the brewery. Its as unique as I expected. Smooth, refreshing taste. Wheat, caramel, and melon taste. Moderate bitter linger. Long lasting bold caramel note. Fun brew.

Draft pour pint at Crooked Label. Cloudy, bright golden orange appearance with a patchy fizz head. Aroma has a good blend of orange fruit and spices. Flavor is a bold front, orange zest, floral character. Palate lingers with a bold orange note, and a touch on the watery side late. Layered flavors here. Fun brew.

Draft pour pint enjoyed at Crooked Label. Dark cola, near black appearance. Moderate foam head. Really solid oatmeal stout here, and probably my new favorite brew from these guys. Aroma is a nice milk chocolate and toasty malt. Barely sweet, more so robust. Flavornis a mocha constant, with a bold, roasted malt finish. Smooth, easy drinking stout. Nice brew.

Om tap at Crooked Label. Golden amber appearance. Quick fading head. Unique Vienna here, somewhat metallic nose, caramel malts. Relatively smooth taste. Rich grain, caramel, earthy malts. Somewhat watery finish, but flavorful enough for the style for sure. Fun style to enjoy in my walking distance local. Pretty good.

On tap at Crooked Label. Cloudy amber orange appearance. Thin film head. Big bold malty IPA. Tons of hops.used in this brew, but the malt disguises it quite well. Bold malty constant. Earthy finish. Bold and bitter finish. Not quite what I expect in the style these days, but as an ale overall, I enjoyed this. Lots of flavor. Bold and aggressive. Interesting.

Draft pour pint at Crooked Label. Probably my first brew from these guys to feature any real hop influence. Pours a somewhat cloudy golden orange with a moderate foam head. Malt forward pale, as expected from these guys. Bready and pils like grains with a decent amount of citrus splash. Hints of pine late as it lingers on the moderately bitter side. Lingering earthy wet malt. Unique pale here with good qualities.

Draft pour pint at Crooked Label. A mostly clean copper appearance with a thin fizz head. Tons of malt all around here, think with bready, caramel, and nutty malts. A bit of a dusty finish. Malt and berries nose. Easy drinking for the malt lover. This beer really describes what these guys are going for as a brewery. Traditional malt dominated ale. Some days I look for the hops. Some days I look for this. Not your typical amber by today's standards for sure, but pretty good overall.
