From tap at 8e Pint Utrechtse Bierbrouwers Festival. Aroma is roasted malt with chocolate, notes of coffee, cocoa, bit burnt, and some dark fruity tones. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Nice roast and chocolate with a relatively modest body, a bit like a Schwarzbier, but made with rye I'm told.

Tap at dB’s. Cloudy amber golden with white head. Massive peat, smoke, light meaty indeed but actually more smoked herbs and tea with some malts and caramel. Does have a touch of Islay whisky. Medium sweet and solid bitter. Medium bodied. Decent, though a little too much maybe.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is wet dog smoke, peat, light caramel, seems sweet. Taste is the same, quite syrupy. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. A bit overdone for me.

Draught @ UBF shared with Caesar and ShivanDragon. Opaque black color, average sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, brown malts, earthy, lightly green plants. Taste malts, brown malts, some roast, lightly green plants, liquorice / laurel. Ok beer but I don't really like it.

van tap @Utrechtse Bierbrouwers Festival 2017, smokey vienna, oranje/amber met beperkte witte kraag. aroma van gerookte mout, whisymout, tarwe en graan, smaken zijn zacht/glad, moutig, weeïg, whisky mouten, tarwe en graan, redelijk stevige moutige smaken, matig tot redelijke body, zwak tot matig bitter, matig zoet, best ok.

Darft (I think?) @ UBF 2017. Murky orange color. Off white head. Aroma’s: grainish, loght peat. Retronasal it’s much more peaty, sweetish. Flavor is above moderate sweet. Medium bodied. Finishes with peat, light bitter
