Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear copper-orange color with a medium thin white head that recedes slowly to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of earthy malt, fruit and caramel. Touches of hops in the background. The finish is sweet with a malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear copper color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Light to medium body with a lightly bitter hops character and notes of grapefruit and sweet malt. The finish is short and lightly hopped. Decent overall.

(On tap) Pale amber with an off-white head. Very discreet aroma with a wee whiff of caramel. Very light-bodied, vaguely caramelish with a distinct hopping from the Liberty hops that also leave some bitterness. Refreshing all right. 290306

(On tap) Nashville. Clear pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Fresh, floral nose. Light-bodied with soft notes of pilsener malt and a lovely fruity hopping from the Hallertauer that also add a dry, lightly hoppy finish. Vaguely fusty but drinkable. 290306

Part of a sampler: Pours a hazy light amber color with a medium off-white head. Sweet honey and malt aroma. Well-rounded if a little on the sweet side. Sweet flavor dominates (honey and malt again) with a slight hops counterbalance. Finish is long and sweet. A simple beer really, but I have had much worse.

Part of a sampler: Pours a hazy light gold color with a medium thin white head. Very light hops aroma. Light-bodied with a light floral hops flavor and not much else. Finish is a little tart but overall this one did not impress me much. Hallertaur hops are not utilized to their full potential here.
