Reddish-brown. No head. Bitter, with some toffee, a toasty note, and woody hops. American red, with decent complexity.

Draft pour pint at Elliott Bay Pizza. Mill Creek. Clean and bright copper appearance. Rocky head. Very flavorful lager, with a big bitter note. Dense bready grains, hints of caramel. Bold, biting spicy malt linger. Floral and spicy palate is both unique and enjoyable. A little on the strong side for this style, Id say, and it shows in taste. Can't knock it for that though. Tasty brew, and fun introduction to a new brewery.
