Draught at the brewpub,very little head, quite clear dark brown color with reddish hues, minerals and smoked eet wood aroma with something musty and dark bread, very light smoked aroma, some dark bread very light sweetness, feels a bit diluted, light bodied. Fair, not too great.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, a bit cloudy murky orange color, aroma of light honey, minerals and yeast, fruity yeasty flavor. Not good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Andrey for this bottle! Cloudy golden. Aroma of yeast, fruity esters. Sweetish flavor, yeasty, with fruity esters, slightly spicy, with a slightly bitterish finish. Light to medium-bodied. Like an amateurish homebrew, yet non-offensive.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Hazy golden with a white head. Strong coriander aroma with wheat, yeast, a bit of fruitiness. Yeasty flavor, wheaty, a bit tart, with strong coriander, fruitiness, and a bit of bitterness. Light to medium-bodied, over-carbonated. Kinda OK. One of the better Soof beers.

Bottle shared at a Yom Kippur eve tasting at Max’s place. Very dark brown to black with a beige head. Aroma of yeast, a bit of olives, mild roast, caramel, toast, nuts, vegetal note. Sweetish and slightly sourish flavor, yeasty, with fruitiness, toast, caramel, light roast, and a faint bitterish note. Medium-bodied. Amateurish.

Bottle shared at a Yom Kippur eve tasting at Max’s place. Hazy yellow. Aroma is yeasty, spicy, strong estery fruitiness (overripe). Sweetish and slightly tart flavor with fruity esters, graininess, spiciness, soap. Over-carbonated. Like an amateurish homebrew.

Bottle shared at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Andrey for this bottle! Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of yeast, light soapy hops, sulphur, a bit of butter. Sweetish flavor with malt, a buttery note, and bitterish soapy hops. Medium-bodied.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of yeast, rye spiciness, minty note, and a plastic note. Slightly sweetish flavor with a light tart hint, with graininess, rye, spiciness, and a light bitterish note. Rather light-bodied, over-carbonated.

Bottle, long lasting bubbly frothy head, murky dark orange color, yeasty, rubbery, woody aroma with a touch of grains, fruity candy flavor with some rye graininess, light to medium and a bit unpleasant bitterness, creamy mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Quite drinkable But not too good.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, some chocolate, yeast, some ginger. Rather dry flavor with roast, a bit of dark chocolate, some ginger, some bitterness. Medium-bodied. I don’t like the ginger aspect, but it’s quite OK.
