Can from Appellation Wines. Hazy pale golden body with a fluffy white head. No visible carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of melon rind and orange. Flavour of tangerine and creamy oats. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A delicious hoppy pale in excellent condition. This is reminiscent of The Kernelβs pale ales.

Can from Cornelius Wines. It pours black with a sturdy light brown head. The aroma is rich roast, bitter - sweet, umami, liquorice allsorts, smooth chocolatey vibes, dried fruits, toasted fruit cake, tunnocks teacakes and jammy wagon wheels. The taste is initially smooth, roasty, bitter - sweet, umami, liquorice, chewy, toothy, touch of soaky citrus, fragrant, floral, burnt toast, touch of alcohol warmth and slightly ashy with a smooth, roasty liquorice finale. Medium to fulsome body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Flavourful and rounded. Nice one.
