Flaske 0,5l - gave fra Rune. Gylden aprikosfarget med et høyt luftig skum. Fin sitruspreget aroma om enn litt svak. Smaken er relativt fyldig med et tungt fruktig preg. Avslutter bittert. KI=6

50 cl bottle. clear reddish amber, smooth thick offwhite head. nice "american" hoppy aroma, also some herbal notes. flavor is hoppy, faint sweet caramelly, herbal, faint metallic, a little bit piny bitter towards the end. Not the most impressive IPA by a long shot, but at least it’s hopped enough to not be boring.

clear light amber, smooth offwhite head. aroma of faint caramel, faint sweet malts, spices, red berries? probably from maple syrup.malty caramelly sweetness rounded off by the maple. kinda nice actually. flavor is sweet, sort of fruitiness like honey, probably maple syrup, flowery bitterness, red berries. ends faint red berry and bitter. reminds me of so many english weird beers, but this one has more body and a more agressive taste. I like it. Also reminds me vaguely of belgian dark beers, but this one is less heavy and finer in the taste, without becoming diluted.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Caramel-sweet nose with a little fruityness. Not bad, just uninteresting and a bit weak. Sweet, caramel flavor with some fruits. A little bitterness too. As the aroma, the flavor isn’t much to brag about. Quite dry in the mouth. Certainly not a beer I’ll return to, it’s too boring for that. 090720
