10 oz. pour at the brewery. Pours black, with a small, khaki head. The aroma is dark chocolate, big orange peel oils, vanilla, cloves, and light coffee. Very sweet and syrupy, with a light bitterness. Medium to heavy body, syrupy, a bit acidic, and sticky. Absolutely delicious, just like a chocolate orange.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The aroma is black bread, light coffee, bitter walnut, ripe banana, and caramel. Sweet and malty, with a mellow bitterness. Medium body, with a chalky, drying palate. This is an interesting doppelbock, with a lot more roast than I expected. Pretty tasty.
