Draught @ Pixel Brewery, Tourcoing. Described as a 'Belgian single' on the clipboard menu, but is delivered dark clear chestnut brown, biere de garde-looking with a small off-white head. Aroma is quite nutty, twiggy. Flavour profile similarly seems centred around twiggy amber malt, not full and malty enough to call it a brown ale, and a bit bitter and twiggy for a biere de garde. Some brown bread and rye with a gentle sweetness. Not quite sure what it's supposed to be. Ok.
