9 August 2018. At Craft Room, Zagreb. Cheers to Anke!
Sample. Hazy dark brown to black with a lasting, unstable, frothy, beige head; little lacing. Aroma of hazelnut paste, salted peanut, cream, coffee bean, cold coffee, cigar ash, toast, chocolate cake. It tastes medium malty sweet, chocolatey & hint of peanut, and light roasted bitter, faint fondant & black coffee; faint raisin note in the back. Dry, toasty finish, faintly peppery hoppy, fondant & coffee notes, slightly astringent. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyable Porter, though it feels a bit like a 'pumped-up' Dark Lager.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, mild citrusy grapefruit nose. Sweet malty, light citrusy fruity, notes of herbs and rather discreet hops presence. Bitterish finish. Nat bad but expected better one.

On tap at Craft Room and several other places... Misty amber-ochre body, thick lasting off white head. Citric, lime-like hoppy notes, a bit subdued by the maltiness, okay enough. Bitterish taste, citric hoppy notes on a nice clean maltiness, but the hops jut aren't that lively, seem a bit subdued. Aah, I kinda hoped for more... I'm sure the next batch will be better, Žedni is definitely capable of that! And I'll rerate it immediately when I try it.
