RBESG pt 18. Moncada. Grand Tasting. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is airy and dry, fine carbonation. Sweetish airy malts with sweetish floralness. Little spice. Little generic fruits. Light dry finish with a mild spicy linger.

Bottle shared at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, a touch of herbs or spices, a touch of sweet. Hmm not sure what to think if this. Weird. Don’t really like it.

Bottle at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. It pours hazy greenish-gold with minimal white head. The nose is toasty grain, cat litter, paper, fruity and odd sweetness. The taste is crisp, straw, minerals, paper, corn and alcohol with a sweet, dirty finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. I really didn’t enjoy this one....

(swing top bottle, 75cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Doughy and slightly grainy pale malty aroma with traces of biscuits, backed by mildly herbal and slightly flowery hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a matured, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Mildly grainy pale malt character with hints of biscuits and a moderate hops character underneath; mildly sweet malty and slightly bitter hoppy finish with floral, slightly herbal notes and a slightly warming alcoholic strength. Tastes like a stronger Pilsener type, which seems to be intended by the brewer. Solid brew. 10.VII.14
