Kaum malziger, dafür etwas säuerlich-herber Antrunk ohne wirklichen Tiefgang.

(draught at the brewers open door day, as Dortmunder Adambier Junior) Hazy, almost cloudy, chestnut-brown colour with a short and slightly tanned foamy layer. Slightly yeasty, caramel-malty aroma with fruity notes of dried fruits, apricots, accompanied by a good dash of herbal hops. Mildly bitter and sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malty, subtle fruity taste with herbal hops from the middle part, getting stronger towards the bitter and mildly fruity finish, which also lasts for a while. Pleasant Ale, reminding me a bit of an Altbier-Bock. 23.IV.11

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a tall and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet (cara-)malty aroma with notes of biscuits/cookies and subtle honey-fruity notes, accompanied by a tinge of herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a pleasantly smooth carbonation. Initially malt-accented taste with notes of biscuits and a slightly rough herbal hoppy and moderately bitter finish. Not perfectly rounded but still a likeable Export. 24.IV.11

Bottle: Golden to deep golden, big fluffy - very slowly collapsing - off-white head; moderate sweetish-grainy nose with a light alcoholic background; robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; solid bitter-sweet finish with a bisquity touch and some well hidden alcohol. Not so flavourful, but well made and crunchy.......

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, metal, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as a bit of fruit, leading to dry metallic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
