Draught. Deep golden colour, small white head. Leaves some lace. Aroma is wood, diacetyl and some mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is grass, alcohol, some wood and mild toffee. Overall a quite sweetish beer, but still wellbalanced in the flavour.

Draught at Vinarna Hrozen, Plzen.
The tenth beer of the Vinarna Hrozen tasting at the RBESG 2008. Cloudy pale amber coloured, small white head. Malty, light hoppy and very sugary taste. Also light touch of alcohol in the finish. A way too sweet.

Beer no.10 at the RBESG Vinarna Hrozen tasting. Murky amber coloured. Yoghurty yeasty aroma that I didn’t like much all that, a bit dusty. A malty taste with some dusty hopiness, some eggs and maybe a touch of alcohol. Thought that it was nice, but nothing more than that.

Draught at Vinarna Hrozen, Pilsen. Cloudy amber, minimal head. Grassy fruity melon aroma. Sweet with medium-full body. Chewy, solid sugary malt. Salty finish. A malt bomb of a Czech beer, but a bit sweet for my liking.

(Re-rate, draught at Nellu Pub, 20120523) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grain, butter and malts. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, grain, butter, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, grainy and bitter. A clean but quite characterless Czech pils.

(From old notes, draught at Hostina (Helsinki) on 2008-01-19) Tastes like a normal Czech pils. Clear bitterness from hops and very lightly malts. Pretty ok for a pils.
