Keg, nitro at Beerhouse on Long. It pours darkest brown with a decent tan head. The aroma is heavy roast, cocoa, sweet chocolate cake, coffee and creme caramel. The taste is smooth, rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, plenty of coffee, coffee cake, creamy chocolate, earth and some wood with a dry, chocolate-led finish. Medium body and moderate, creamy carbonation. A rich and well-made porter.
