On tap at Motel Plivska Jezera, Bosnia. They had regular and this one so I expected a dunkel or schwarzbier as it commonly goes. But I got pale golden beer, with medium white head. Interestingly, it was not clear like regular, but pretty murky. Aroma was quite strong, sweet orange and flower malty, slightly alcoholic so I realized that "extra" is actually an alcohol punch. Sourness from the inadequate storage is felt. Flavor is sweetish, pretty nice, except alcohol is poorly hidden behind that maltiness. Long, sweet finish, maybe bit too much. Full bodied, pretty drinkable but I don’t see myself to order lot of those. Maybe it didn’t get well with that very hot day, as generally I like the beer, and specially appreciate the idea of producing something different in micro brewery. It could be much better though.

Well, well, I really couldn’t believe I would find something like this on my weekend in Jajce. Walking some 6-7 km from town to Pliva lakes on a hot day needed some rest in the shadow with beer in my hand, so I sat in restaurant of local motel. And after I ordered Sarajevsko, I saw on the bottom of menu they had two "domestic Pliva" beers.
Anyway, beer had clear pale golden body with medium head that lived quite long. Aroma was sourish, like unpasteurized, but seems like a part of sourness comes from bad storing in kegs. Anyway, pretty simple, some malt, maybe bread and that’s all. Flavor was pleasant, but very watery and just slightly bittersweet, otherwise plain. Refreshing, yes, it laid down so well, but definitely misses its character, although it has some potential. Couldn’t find out alcohol content but I assume it’s not more than 4%.
