Bottled at PBF. Clear nut brown, small head. Aroma of sweet heavy rye bread. Medium-full body with firm, well rounded mouthfeel. Slightly raisiny, lots of bread, mildly bitter finish. Nicely balanced and drinkable doppelbock.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.[ Trade by Maria ]. Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass, fresh grass, vegetable and cardboard notes, cardboard - limestone - chalk notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, cabbage water, malty, sharp hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120209]

bottle from Getränke Fleischmann Wörth/Isar. Clear golden colour, large white head. Fruity-malty aroma. Full-bodied, intensive malt flavours with a touch of caramel and honey. Shy fruity touch towards the finish, also some shy grassy hops in the lingering finish. Smooth palate - a well balanced Märzen.

(bottle) Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a blond and medium-sized foamy head. Slightly sweet pale malty nose with grainy notes and a light touch of cardboard. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly crispy carbonation. Mildly grainy malty taste with shades of herbal hops; sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish.
