About
Careful, now it's getting romantic! For us at ueberquellbeer is not an exchangeable mass product, but something very serious and real and genuine and truly special. Because it's something brewed by people, not machines. Because in contrast to all the ultra-modern equipment, people have a little more passion to brew passionately. And the prettier hands too. Now, if you're wondering if all this has happened was what our breweries are all about, we can announce full of hops and malt: We brew our bottles at our friends of Schnitzlbaumer in Traunstein. Of course according to our recipes, on the identical plant and under the keen eye of our master brewer. The on-site brewery has 7 tanks, where we produce our core range.

Bottle, 5.3%. Lagery, bready aroma, a bit like non-alcoholic breadiness. Hazy golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is OK malty, slightly papery with a chalky finish. Fairly low bitterness. Good mouthfeel.

330ml bottle. Poured a hazy light golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, light buttery malt, light tart pineapple citrus, light pepper spice, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

0,33 l bottle from their webshop. Pours out nearly black, but surprisingly a two finger thick beige foamy head. A lot of smooth choco on the nose, some sweet bourbon in the background. Oily palate, increasing whisky with some sharpness. Choco and some berryfruits in the background. No real carbonation. A really nice one.

0,33 l bottle from their webshop. Copper in the glass, not really clear, small one finger fast fading head. Intensive old cold coffee on the nose. Taste starts with intensive coffee, sweet malty with hints of citrus in the second row. Thins out to the end. Remembers me to the morning after at private partys at home in my younger years. Give me a lager, give me the coffee, but not in a mix. Sorry ...

Bottle from Metro. Amber haze with a decent head. Smells fruity piney, what, West coast? Big caramel, American hoppy notes of pine and citrus. Not so much bitterness, I would call it Pale Ale rather than IPA, but it's very tasty.
