Description
Careful, now it's getting romantic! For us at ueberquellbeer is not an exchangeable mass product, but something very serious and real and genuine and truly special. Because it's something brewed by people, not machines. Because in contrast to all the ultra-modern equipment, people have a little more passion to brew passionately. And the prettier hands too. Now, if you're wondering if all this has happened was what our breweries are all about, we can announce full of hops and malt: We brew our bottles at our friends of Schnitzlbaumer in Traunstein. Of course according to our recipes, on the identical plant and under the keen eye of our master brewer. The on-site brewery has 7 tanks, where we produce our core range.

Bottle [thanks to secret Santa Europe 2017 affensteve] @ home. Clear dark orange color, medium to full sized off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is malts, caramelish, hops but also slightly old hoppy. Flavor has it too, firm malty beginning, some caramel, hops but a bit off it seems. Decent bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Ok.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond and tall but loose foamy head. Fresh and fruity hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruits, lemongrass and a whiff of resin, backed by delicately grainy malt. Mildly sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry, slightly grainy malty base with present fruity and slightly resiny hops; dry, bitter-sweet finish with a citric and slightly resiny hoppy tail. Good. 26.XII.17

Smooth white floral beginning. Nice fresh yeast, citrus and pine. The white yeast is there, herbal dry with hints of clove. Lots of herbal floral hops on top, smooth in body with a moderate fresh graininess. Long floral herbal aftertaste - dry with mild grainy hints and a nice white yeast. Interesting!

Buddel: Golden with an orangey sheen, hazy, bigger creamy and stable off-white head that leaves rings on the glass; moderate dryish bitter nose of lemons and exotic fruits, some piney traces as well; almost solid dry bitter-sweet flavour, relatively light bodied and pretty tart; lingering dry bitter-piney finish. Robust, but could be a bit better balanced...
