On tap at Frankonian Bierfestival Thursday 16th June 2022 in the company of Jude and Baz, glorious day 🌞. Sunny yolky colour with a large white head, hazy. Nice banana bread from the off, a little clove, very refreshing, good.

On tap at Bierwerk, Nürnberg in the company of Jude and Baz Wednesday 15th June 2022, a blisteringly hot today now 29c. Pours clear gold colour with a white head, looks great. Soft moutheel, a little bit malty, some fruitiness, good but I am a little bit underwhelmed.

Fläschla: Deep golden to copper coloured, visible carbonation, medium-sized creamy off-white head, mild to moderate bitter-sweet aroma of malt, including very shy traces of toasted malt, with herbal-flowery hops in the background, not to forget a barnyardy touch; mild bitter-sweet flavour, hardly medium bodied, at least soft; lingering bitter-sweet malty finish with shy fruity traces. Not great, especially by franconian standards...

Fläschla: Golden, visible carbonation, medium-sized creamy white head, moderate citrussy and spicy (Saazer Mittelfrüh???) hoppy nose, grainy-malty background, almost a bit buttery; solid bitter-sweet flavour, more light than medium bodied; lingering spicy-hoppy and mildly malty finish. Klobouk dolů! Comes very close to a slušný Ležák...
