Description
Pure Project is a small batch, ingredient-centric craft brewery with a mission to build community and a reverence for beer as an agricultural product by staying true to our ethos of quality ingredients, sustainability, and attention to detail.
To us, beer is art.
We believe every beer should tell a story; just like a world class meal, a perfect cup of coffee or a timeless wine, and we aim to bring that same level of passion, creativity and artistry to the ever evolving craft beer community.
We look forward to sharing our art with that movement by providing an experiential brand to give context to the beer in your glass.

(On tap @ Bottlecraft Little Italy, April 2/17) Pours completely murky pale orange with a loose white head and lots of lace. Aroma is dank fresh Nelson, super leafy, weed, guava, spicy, cedar, light gooseberry, pine needles, low malt. Flavour is dry, leafy, moderate bitterness, dank, citrus peels, grapefruit, guava, light white grape. Finish has fresh conifer boughs, more leafiness, a little bit resinous. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Damn nice Nelson character here. Itβs not the most juicy but itβs got an awesome freshness to the hops. Very tasty hazy IPA.

On tap at brewery. Almost black with a small slightly tan head. Quite hoppy with light roasted malt, some licorice, grapefruit and light caramel. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy dark golden/orange with a small head. (not as your typical Imperial Stout). Sweet with coffee, roasted malt, cocoa and chocolate. The body was almost full and the finish quite long. My first ever "golden stout".
