Tap at Chinatown. Pitch black with a tall, tan nitro head. Nose of coffee, nuts, dark chocolate. Somewhat sweet flavor, light nuts, coffee, caramel. Very light in body.

Tap in Chinatown. Medium amber-red, hazy, with a tall white head. Fruity nose, cherry, apple, bread, some caramel. Somewhat sweet flavor, quite fruity malt, biscuits, light caramel. Slightly too sweet but fruity and tasty.

Tap at the brewery pub. Pitch black and shiny with an off-white head. Nose of caramel, dark chocolate, light coffee and roasted malt. Flavoris semi-sweet, roasty, a bit nutty. Good Schwarz.

On tap at the brewery pub. Bright, rich gold with a tall, thick head. Rich bready malt nose with citrus and herbal hops.rich, bready, hoppy flavor with an intense, almost tannic bitterness. Well done, but the bitterness is a bit too much.

4 oz. draft pour as part of a flight at Glendale Tap. Clear bright yellow, no sparkle, thin head, poor retention, no lacing. Aroma is wheat, toasty quality, clove. Taste mirrors aroma. Smooth texture soft carbonation, finish as taste.
