Keg at the brewery, 8.7.20. Dark hazy rust, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of tart cherry, oak, caramel, leaves, a hint of soy. Taste is tart cherry, lemom, funk, oak, dandelion. Medium bodied, lingering tartness, booze melds well.

Keg at the brewery, 8.7.20. Very hazy bright orange, thin white head good retention. Aroma of lactose, peach, a bit of toast. Taste is lemon, apricot, pale malt, lactose. Medium bodied, no bitterness, mildly sour. Simple but pleasant.

Keg at the brewery, 8.7.20. Hazy gold, thin head, good retention. Aroma of strong ginger, lemon, honey. Taste is honey, ginger, lemon. Medium bodied, booze there but not bad for the ABV. Not much grain character in this or the previous one. Ginger balanced nicely, neither tame or over-aggressive. Nice.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2019. Pours a clear amber brown with a near white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has earthy grains and bread with some light roast backing. Flavor has earthy dark grains, light chocolate and some earthy roast underlying.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2018. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a lot of passionfruit with some pineapple and sweet wheat backing. Flavor has beautiful passionfruit with light tart pineapple and touch of sweet wheat underling.

Sampled from the tap at All Pints North 2017. Pours a hazy earthy gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma is full of a creamy strawberry with some light sweet grains underlying. Flavor has sweet strawberry, a light creamy note and some sweet grains supporting.

ABR 2016. Served too cold. 5.0 abv. 23 ibu. Amber color. medium sweet, lager yeast is noticeable. Some caramel and lots of malt flavor. They did a decent job with this uncommon style.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of roasted malts and dark grains with a bit of bread underlying. Flavor has much more of a musty dark grain note with some roasted malts supporting and a slightly dry finish.
