Half liter bottle from the brewery, 12/22/24. Near black, moderate lefs. Aroma of currant, berry, honey, maple. Taste is honeu, berry, currant, maple, oak. Whiskey shows as it warms. Some vanilla in there. Well balanced.

200 mL bottle from the meadery and shared at the April 2023 PS tasting, 4/8/23. Hazy red-brown, strong legs. Aroma of berry, currant, honey, grape, mild cocoa. Taste is currant, cocoa, berry, honey. Bright. No cocoa in this but it sure comes across that way. Solid.

On tap at funk factory. Pours a clear deep purple with a slight pink hue and no head whatsoever. Aroma has a light nuttiness and creamy honey and tart raspberry supporting. supporting. Flavor has light tart raspberry and sweet honey with a slight creamy nuttiness underlying.

375 mL bottle from the meadery, 7/11/22. Clear amber, strong legs. Aroma of apple, cinnamon. Taste is apple, cinnamon, honey, vanilla. Full bodied. Not sure what the pecans are doing here. Mild heat. Pretty smooth for the ABV. Nice mead.
