650ml bottle [2025 vintage]. Jet black colour with late awakening, almost instantaneously fading, very small, creamy, tan head. Intense and concentrated, BA supported, chocolately, mildly roasty, dark malty as well as mildly spicy and nutty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, dark cocoa, maple syrup, dark caramel, a touch of brown sugar, vanilla, coconut and cinnamon, alcoholic overtones with a very weak, fruity touch of cherry, plum, blackberry. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty, mildly spicy, minimally nutty and alcoholic, notes of dark chocolate cocoa, maple syrup, some vanilla, marzipan, a touch of hazelnut, some explicit coconut in the last third; a minimally warming, alcoholic touch in the finish.
Viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky, slightly cloying palate, fine, scattered, soft carbonation.
Rich and intense, harmonious and homogeneous, fine and subtle - wonderful!

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has burnt sugar and ginger with some bourbon and toffee supporting. Flavor has a gingerbread and sweet grain throughout with vanilla and toffee supporting.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow with a slight gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma is grassy with a decent amount of citrus and just a hint of pine underlying. Flavor has citrus rind and blood orange with growing grapefruit and grass notes.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has mango and sweet grains with a bit of papaya and citrus underlying. Flavor has dank citrus and mango with a growing papaya and a hint of rind backing.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has mango and citrus with some fall grass and a slight herbal note. Flavor has much more of a dank citrus and rind combination with some grass and a slight herbal note backing.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a near clear dark brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark bread and a hint of roast with just a bit of earthiness underlying. Flavor has sweet dark grains and a growing roast with some bread in the finish.

750ml bottle at share. Black pour, thin beige head. Aroma is chocolaty and sweet. Taste is chocolate, fudge, vanilla. ABV is not overpowering at 16.2%

From beerolution, april 2024, canned in 2023. Time to open this can yesterday, at Epalinges after a nice walk in the Lavaux. Good ipa, smooth and malty, yeasty, touch of pineapple, tropical fruits, bitter and citrus, medium body.
