Bottle. Dark ruby color with no head. Aroma is blackcurrants, vanilla, good honey, rich and with a slight madeirization. Taste is blackcurrant goodness, good tannins, tartness too, ridiculously drinkable for the richness. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Incredible stuff!

Bottle. Reddish color with no head. Aroma is redcurrants, not so strong honey character here, lieblich-style and restrained overall. Taste is again redcurrants, fruity, mild honey, a bit tartness for drinkability. Not light-bodied, but not cloying either, great mead!
