(Keg at Craft Beer Garden 2026 Friday session) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had vinous notes, soy sauce, wood, vanilla and dark chocolate. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, wood, vanilla, dark chocolate, ash, alcohols and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, vanilla and bitterness. ABV was well hidden. Tasty.

Intense barrel notes, loads of chocolate sauce, vanilla, bourbon, toffee, syrup, caramel, coconut, marshmallow, hints of sweetness. Quite tasty and balanced, borderline too pastry, but great barrel overdose.
