Keg at MBCC 2018 Yellow (session Juan), 11/05/18. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is chocolate, vanilla, sweet malts, toffee melt, light bourbon trace. Taste comprises rich chocolate, light roast, maple syrup, vanilla fudge, light coconut shavings, pinch of black peppery spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced warming alcohol kiss. Top draw and great balance in this number.

Keg at MBCC 2018 Yellow (session Juan), 11/05/18. Pitchblack with a decent tan covering. Nose is rich chocolate, mellow balanced barrel exhaust coconut shreds, sweet malts, cummy chocolate jism. Taste comprises decadent chocolate melt, Bounty Bar ... red wrapper and cardboard insert, chocolate coconut fudge, light balanced bourbon rip. Full bodied, fine carbonation, sweet and balanced rising boost at the curtain call. I don't normally go balls deep over impy stouts but for a first beer from a brewery for me this was sublime!

MBCC 2018. Red. Pedal to the Metal session. Keg. Clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate with a light trailing crispness. Sweet malts, light and with a good degree of fruity toffee. Some cognac and vanilla before the light finish. Delicious barleywine.

MBCC 2018. Red. Pedal to the Metal session. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, decent fine carbonation. Gorgeous rich dark chocolate malts, some vanilla. Spice in the mid. Rich fruity bourbon on the back end. A little more spice on the finish. Wonderfully rich and rewarding.
