Amber color with generous creamy head. It has a nice Thai chili aroma, smooth mouthfeel, medium spiciness, a bit dusty. Not bad, but I wander what to drink with, maybe cakes.

Amber color, hazy, with nice head. the orange is not much present, maybe some minimal acidity, but the vanilla extract gives an aroma and flavor of artificial industrial cakes.
Not for me.

Golden color, it doesn’t really have much red hue, but it has a nice foam. Very light fruity aroma, not much IPA. It seems that the flavor of the IPA too is partially lost, there is just a hint of fruit, and too much bitterness in the final. Didn’t like this as much.

On tap at Storm, pours a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma brings out insane chili peppers. Flavour is similar, with a bold but pleasant chili pepper domination of the palate. It's not really apparent that there's an IPA underneath. The chilis are strong but not painful. Good stuff.

On tap at Storm, pours an opaque dark orangey brown with a small white head. Nose brings out excessive orange notes - not much else. Flavour is quite sweet, with loads of creamsicle, orange, and residual sugar. Tastes exactly like an orange creamsicle melted into a beer. Good for what it is, but I don't like creamsicle.

On tap at Storm, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose brings out loads of fresh mint and a touch of lime. Flavour is pretty much identical, masking any IPA characteristics. All mint here with subtle lime notes. Interesting one.

On tap at Storm, pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Nose brings out fresh raspberries, with subtle buried hop undertones. Flavour brings out a great mix of raspberries and dry piney hops. Interesting choice to add raspberries to an IPA, but this works very well. Very nice stuff.

On tap at Storm, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose brings out toasted malt, faint toasted caramel and metallic notes. Flavour is exactly the same. Fairly bland but well-balanced beer. Drinkable but boring.

Pours amber red with a tiny head. Aroma of tart berries, sour yeastiness, wood, oak and vinous notes. Taste is sour, woody and oaky with some tart berries, yeast and vinegary notes. Finish is heavy, sour, woody and sweetish with some tart berries. Quite tasty but very sour and heavy.

Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth head. Aroma of toasted malts, some roastiness, nuts and chocolate. Taste is smooth, toasted and nutty with some roastiness and chocolate. Finish is silky smooth and crisp with some roastiness, bitter hops and nutty notes. Okay. --- Beer merged from original tick of Black Plague Stout on 02 Jun 2014 at 21:39 - Score: 7
