Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong brown sugar, licorice, oak, bourbon, caramel. Slick body, licorice, caramel, raisin, nice boozy finish, enjoyed this. --- Beer merged from original tick of Arabesque (2022) on 27 May 2023 at 19:41 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 9. 16oz can at Sir James. Thick, yeasty, true body, refreshingly true after an afternoon of stylistic misses. This one is creamy and thick, a truly luscious example of the style. Super puffy white head earns it the 5. Right next door to lactose world, seems really creamy. I get more Citra than Nelson, but an excellent hop display nonetheless. Great beer.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark, clear golden with a white foamy head. Malty aroma, biscuits. Big toasty malty flavor, full, crisp backend. Solid throughout.

Can from Tavour at 4.7%. Pours shiny gold with a decent creamy white head that turned foamy. Aroma is bready with some sort of strange note. Med body. Flavor is bready with an underlying sour not. Dry. Very lightly bitter. ?

Dairy free!!!! Right on the can!!!! Huge amount of vanilla, thick, sweet milky and hoppy juice, maybe my favorite milkshake, but I guess without milk it's just a hopshake? Either way it's delish but the style still ain't perfect for me.

16oz can from the brewery. Funky ass off aroma, sort of odd and embarrassing from a brewery that makes World Class hazies. Sour garbage undertones. Some ingredient facets are there, but overall just weak lager brewing. Quite unimpressive.

16oz can from the brewery. Opaque peach-orange body. Steady, thin, white head. Drinks with a lot of bitterness, rind. Easy going for the ABV, quite drinkable. In the hazy style but doesn't really lean into any soft, juicy tones. Bitter enough, but still creamy and oaty. OK.
