Coffee beers rank low on my tier list, but this was crazy good, toffee goes far!

Bottle pours out black topped with a small tan ring of a head. Nose is big sweet chocolate hazelnut coffee vanilla wow. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate coffee vanilla hazelnut kick, very nice.

Pours black, good sized, fairly stable, darker tanned head. Smell is roasty, heavy dark malts, full on chocolate, milder vanilla. Fairly creamy body. intense, roasted malts. Chocolate. Vanilla ending. lovely. Alcohol is very, very hidden. Drinks like an 8.5 % beer !

From a can at Funk Factory. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has orange juice and dank tropical fruits with a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has dank citrus and earthy tropical fruits with a bit of sweet grain and vanilla underlying.

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo. Thanks Hunter! Pours a hazy gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Leafy hops, pineapple and dried mango aromas. More of the same on the palate. Piney, bitter leafy finish. Nice balanced IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Rule of Thirds on 06 Jul 2019 at 18:23 - Score: 7

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that dissipates. Some light malt aromas and faint honeyed bread notes. Feels heavy and flavors muted on the palate. Good carbonation, but tiring on the palate and not much flavor unfortunately. Malty finish without much hop bite. --- Beer merged from original tick of P3 Pils on 06 Jul 2019 at 19:23 - Score: 7

Got as a gift from TheFugitive. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden, orange, green, amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight lingering resins/rinds through the glass. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.7%. Overall this is a fantastic NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish; amazingly soft feel. Amazing Mosaic, Amarillo profile. Extremely juicy, and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on style example.
