330ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: very similar to others - sweet with some meaty notes. vanilla. Taste: vanilla, bourbon, roasted malt bitterness, meaty notes at the finish. Overall: I believe it's better to my taste than most of the others I've had, however, I am not a fan of the base for the beers.

Dark brown, no head. On the palate, there's an alcohol kick up front, some toffee, light sultanas, dates. Not a lot of vanilla, a bit in the finish. Big boozy barrel character, and I think that's the cognac standing out a bit. It's light for the style, but I don't think that's a huge problem here.

750ml @ Ryan's shared with Farees. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: a Belgian Saison with sophisticated peppery notes and nice barrel complexity and a bit of funk. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: very nice.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Loved batch 1 (favourite Temporal beer thus far). Hazed gold with small white head. Still enjoying Batch 2, but giving it a 0.1 less than Batch 1 Somewhereness. This is a little bit too sweet in comparison, but still has a nicebuggy saison yeast and overall balance. Enjoyable.

Poured from 330mL bottle @ Weathered 2023. Dark brown with small beige head. Some nice rum barrel, hint of caramel, prefer this over the VB Novum, a bit more depth.

Dark brown. Thin head that quickly dissipates, as one would expect. Lots of bitter chocolate. Sweet malt, fair bit of alcohol. But yeah, the burnt chocolate works, some random maple okay, I walk past Timmie's every now and then. But I'd like more complexity. It's good, but nothing stands out. Dark fruits in the finish really clash with high hop bitterness and alcohol. I appreciate going for it, but.
